NOTICE: I teach proficiency based classes only. You must be proficient with each skill to certify. Other instructors and Scuba Shops may teach a performance based program where one need only perform a skill once to certify. Performance based programs are not good enough for me or you. If you are not proficient with a skill, then you will know it and not be confident about your safety or skills. My students are the best trained and most confident divers in the oceans. Scuba is a potentially dangerous sport. As such, everyone needs to take appropriate classes for the particular activity he or she intends to engage in. All Scuba classes require the student to be present for all classes. The classes must be conducted by a current and insured instructor rated for the course taught. Sorry. I would love to have you in one of my classes. If you live too far away, then I would be happy to find an instructor closer to you. Your first class should be an Open Water Diver course.
Open Water

Open Water Pro Course

This course is for those who feel that they need more time and more dives to gain confidence in and become comfortable with your skills. This course includes 10 dives and 40 hours of classroom and pool. And you can be ready to dive blue water in as little as four weeks. I will teach you the basic skills you need to safely enjoy and explore the underwater world.
I will schedule your classes at your convenience and around your busy schedule as much as possible.

Advanced Open Water

Your Advanced Open Water class will expand your opportunity to explore the wonders of underwater worlds. This is accomplished by building your knowledge and experience in deep diving, navigation, night diving, Rescue diving, Search & Recovery, and the Marine environment. This is your chance to have 6 or more dives under the guidance of an instructor.
As with the Open Water classes, I will work around your busy schedule.

NITROX

Rescue

A Rescue Class will help prepare you for diving emergencies. This class is mandatory to move on to Divemaster and instructor - but should not be thought of as a class for professionals only. DiveMaster

The IDEA Divemaster rating is the highest leadership-level certification with the exception of Instructor. The program is designed to train experienced and knowledgeable divers to organize and conduct enjoyable open water dives for certified divers. During the course your swimming, snorkeling, towing, rescue, and diving skills will also be evaluated and improved upon. At the completion of a Divemaster course, you will be able to carry Professional Liability Insurance and independently supervise divers

Instructor

If becoming an instructor is your goal - I can help. Instructor candidates will be taught, and evaluated in all aspects of dealing with students in the Open Water environment. The Instructor Trainer will run multiple drills with each candidate so they can master all aspects of the check out dives.

All Other Specialties
|
|
A Specialty Class will help prepare you for diving in specialized situations or environments. Specialty classes include such things as Night Diving where disorientation and loss of buddy are a concern. Many people are not comfortable with diving at deeper depths. A Deep Diver course will prepare you for that environment and develop confidence in your abilities. The list of specialties is extensive so just ask me about your area of interests.
